Soul Winning Is Not Difficult

Soul Winning Is Not Difficult

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30 (KJV)

He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. Proverbs 10:5 (KJV)

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35 (KJV)

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:37-38 (KJV)

I could list numerous verses on this same topic. The point is that God needs all hands on deck. It’s harvest time and this is the latter rain, meaning the fruit is ripe for picking. However, no harvesting means no harvest. Don’t let the lost die without Jesus. Someone reached out to us, and God wants us toreach out to others.

We are to be wise and win souls. According to Proverbs 10:5 noted above, the foolish son will not win souls, but sleeps during harvest time and causes shame. It is harvest time, and time is running out in these last days. We must work while it is day. The night is coming where no one can work. We need to pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into the harvest to reap the harvest. And we must be availble and willing to help bring in the harvest ourselves as the Lord directs us.

How We Can Do Our Part to Bring in the Harvest:

  1. Be willing, as Isaiah said, “Here am I Lord, send me”

  2. Let God lead you.

  3. Pray for opportunity and open doors before you go out.

  4. Pray for the Lord to prepare hearts to receive Him.

  5. Share what the Lord has done for you.

  6. Share some scripture to birth faith in their hearts.

  7. Don’t argue with anyone- of they do not receive, just politely walk away from the situation.

  8. Reach out to people through acts of kindness.

  9. Invite someone to church or a Bible study.

  10. Be a friend to someone and win their heart in order to win them to Jesus.

  11. Bind the enemy in each situation and loose the Holy Spirit to work.

  12. Just share and let God do the work- you don’t have to force someone to receive.

  13. Remember, some plant, some water, and some reap. You may not see the harvest yourself, but share anyway.

  14. You can give someone a book, booklet, pamphlet, or tract.

  15. Be friendly and smile- just some basic friendliness can open some people up.

  16. Ask someone if they need prayer for anything- and then pray with them. Remember, the Lord will go with you, working with you and confirming His Words with signs following.

Winning souls is wise, and if you use some of these simple ideas and pointers, it is not difficult. The Lord wants us to share our faith with others and use love, compassion, and friendliness, combined with supernatural manifestations, to lead people to Jesus Christ. This is the time of the great endtime harvest, so we need to be about the Father’s business of harvesting.
