Give God Time To Work

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV)

When we’re waiting for God to come through, waiting for a prayer to be answered, or waiting to hear from Him for wisdom and direction, the best thing we can do while we wait is to spend time with God. If we’re too busy to take time to be with God, maybe its because we are busy trying to solve our own problems instead of letting God work.

By spending time with God, I’m referring to reading His Word, praying, worshiping, ministering to Him with thanksgiving, or just being in His presence waiting. Sometimes all we need to do is to be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10).

God is faithful to do what He has promised. The next time you’re wondering if God will come through for you, hit the pause button and selah. Pause and calmly wait and think on God, knwoing that God is working while you are resting.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Psalm 37:7 (KJV)

As we rest and spend time with God while we are waiting, God will cause us to inherit good things. As we wait, we gain strength, revelation, and insight into God and His ways. We will see His plan unfold and we will see His goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). Stand still, be still, sit still and see the salvation of the Lord (Exodus 14:13). Rest in Him and give Him time to work, and all will be well in His time.
