Determining Your Future- Part 1

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23 (KJV) emphasis mine

Your future is in your words. Your words determine your future- whether good or bad; whether happy, sad or mad. What determines our lives and the quality of our lives is what comes out of our mouths. What we say is a factor in whether we are healthy or sick, prosperous or poor. James 3 tells us about the power of the tongue and how it affects our lives. Our words determine our lives.

If you don’t like the direction your life is headed, change your words to change your life. Even if you are in the midst of storms, you can speak life over your situation and the storm will eventually calm and you will come out fine.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)

According to Mark 11:23 and this verse in Proverbs, we will have what we speak. So, say what you want to come to pass instead of speaking doom and gloom or doubt and unbelief. If we keep speaking what we see in the natural, we will keeping having the same results we have always had. God’s Word tells us our future if we will just come into agreement with it and speak what God has said.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 (KJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (KJV)

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. I Peter 3:10 (KJV)

Speak good to see good. You hold the key to a good future with your words.
