A New Dawn

“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 (Amplified Bible, AMP)

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 (NKJV)

“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty. Malachi 4:1-3 (New International Version, NIV)

We are entering a new era. A new dawn is rising over us. The Lord is doing a new thing and it is marvelous. These are miraculous times. For the righteous, it will be the very best of times. For the evildoer, it will be horrible beyond anything they can imagine.

Am I a prophet? No. Am I a seer? No. But, God has made promises to us that He is bound to keep. Promises that tell us that our latter end will be better than our former. Promises like the promise of His glory covering the earth like the waters cover the sea. The promise of His Spirit being poured out on all flesh.

Don’t lose hope or give up on the brink of the manifestation of everything we’ve been believing for. Instead, go forth in the power and might of the Spirit and take ground for God. Take ground at work, at school, in sporting events, at the supermarket, everywhere. The enemy wants to prevent the will of God from being done on the earth as it is in heaven. He does not want this earth to resemble heaven. However, it can and it will reflect heaven as we go forth and take ground.

The schools are ours. The media is ours. The entertainment world is ours. The government is ours. The banks are ours. God expects us to rule and reign in this life by Christ Jesus, and rule we will! This is what “Thy kingdom come, They will be done” looks like.

A new day is dawning. Things will never be the same again. The glory is here. Take it.
