The Blood is the Way to the Glory

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Hebrews 10:19-20 (KJV)

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: I Peter 1:18-19 (KJV)

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. I Peter 1:11 (KJV)

Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house. And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house. And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. II Chronicles 7:1-3 (KJV)

These scriptures show us God’s divine order of doing things, how God has established a divine pattern. They point out that first blood is shed for sin, then God’s glory is revealed.

Sin is a glory blocker. It keeps us from experiencing God’s glory. However, since Christ has shed His blood for our sins, the pathway is opened to the glory of God. That glory can be revealed and manifested in our lives.

Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice to God on behalf of mankind. When He did, the Bible says that they veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom, demonstrating that God was honoring His Son’s sacrifice and the way is opened for man to enter God’s presence and experience His glory.

No blood, no glory. Through the shed blood of Christ we now have access to God’s glory, His manifest presence in our lives. We need to preach, sing, and testify of the shed blood of Jesus. Without it, we have no access to God. His blood gives us access to the glory, where there is power, healing, freedom, life, provision, everything we need. That’s why the Bible says that God meets all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. The blood paid the price, it paved the way, for us to see all of God’s glory manifest- now and forever. The more we honor the shed blood of Jesus and His sacrifice, the more we will experience the glory in our lives.

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Revelation 5:12-13 (KJV)

All glory belongs to Jesus. The blood and the glory are connected. Jesus is worthy to receive glory because He was slain and He redeemed us by His blood. The blood is the way to the glory. Because we are washed by the blood, we will live in the glory with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, angels, and the redeemed of the Lord throughout eternity!
