The Lord Shall Fight For Us

When people, problems, and principalities come against us, we know that the battle is the Lord’s.

And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hands. I Samuel 17:47 (KJV) emphasis mine

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. II Chronicles 20:17 (KJV)

The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Exodus 14;14 (KJV)

There’s no need for us to fight, since we do not fight against flesh and blood. Whenever anyone comes against us, they come against God. God will defend, protect, and fight for His own. Just hold your peace, be still, and watch God take over. He can and will do a better job at fighting for us than we could ever do.

No matter the wrong, injstice, or threat, God will step in and fight for us to defeat our enemies. And those who were our foes, we will see no more. When God takes care of a matter, it is done. We just have to stay in faith and get out of His way so He can work. The enemy is already defeated. God will cause us to triumph and walk out he victory as we give Him thanks.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. II Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)

When we come under attack, we must turn it over to the Lord. Cast that care upon Him. As we trust Him and praise Him, He moves into action. Just know that the Lord is on your side and He is for you. He will make things right and repay you for your trouble many times over. So, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!
