Pray and Stand
We are coming to the end of all things, so be serious and keep your wits about you in order to pray more forcefully. I Peter 4:7 (The Voice, VOICE)
We are at a strategic time in human history. Evil is about to be overthrown in a big way. Now, more than ever, we must be watchful and we must pray.
We should pray for ourselves that we will stand strong while things appear to be falling apart round us. We must pray that we will keep our eyes on God and not on world events. We must ask the Lord to strengthen us in our inner man so we can be steadfast and immovable. Our ability to make it through this coming storm unscathed depends on us focusing our attention on God and His promises more than anything else. We must draw close to our Father and seek shelter and protection under His wings. In His presence, we are untouchable. Like Noah, great protection and victory is provided for those who choose to enter the ark of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Him, we need not fear.
We should pray for believers around us who may not understand what is actually going on. We must pray that the Lord opens their eyes. We must pray for their protection and provision. Intercession is a key responsibility of every child of God. We are to watch over others in prayer.
We should pray for those who do not know God. The impending events will be terrifying for those who do not have the assurance that comes from a relationship with Jesus. Call them into the kingdom of God. Pray that they will receive the Lord as their Savior. And pray for their protection. We are entering the endtime harvest, and we are the workers who are being sent into the fields to bring them in. Part of harvesting is praying people into the Kingdom of Light.
We should pray that the Lord’s will is done in the earth. We should release the angelic host to fight against the forces of evil. We should speak defeat to the enemy and victory to the Lord’s angel armies. As we pray for righteousness and justice to prevail in our nations and in the earth, we will see it come to pass. These are trying times, but as we spend significant time in prayer, we will make it through without fear, and we will enter the greatest time we’ve ever known. Pray and stand, dear ones, and see the salvation of the Lord.
