Revelation, Transformation, Multiplication
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)
Revelation means an unveiling.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 (KJV)
Transformation means to change or to be changed.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. Mark 4:20 (KJV)
Multiplication means exponential increase.
As we spend time with Jesus, in His Word and in His presence, He reveals who He is. We see Him as the glorified God, the Lord, and Son of God. Such revelation brings transformation to our lives. It changes how we think and how we see things. If affects our thoughts, speech, and actions. We see things from God’s perspective. As we behold Jesus and His glory, it changes us. As we renew our minds to God’s Word, it transforms our thinking. We begin to think more like God, talk like God, and walk like God. Godliness, or the quality of being like God, becomes more and more a part of our lives and identity. God is multiplied in us.
It is a process that we go through. The seed of God’s Word is planted in our hearts and brings multiplication- in us and in our lives. God brings increase in us as we grow in God. His love matures us. As God multiplies us, we replicate ourselves in others, which is called discipleship. Jesus did this with His disciples. We share with others what God has given to us.
We progress from revelation to transformation to multiplication. That’s how we grow and how we grow the Kingdom.
