What You Are Called to Do Right Now
It seems like so many Christians are losing hope and giving up. They believe the world is going to hell and all they can do is hold on until the rapture. This is exactly what the enemy wants us to do. True, we are looking forward to the rapture, but Jesus will be taking us out as a victorious bride, not as a defeated one.
You may be wondering what you can do to make a difference in this great battle to save our nation and the nations of the world. The battle seems fierce and the enemy looks so big. Dear believer, don’t lose heart; you are stronger and more ferocious than you realize. The enemy actually trembles at the thought of you using your blood-bought authority.
Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you. Luke 10:19 (Amplified Bible, AMP)
You may not be called to run for public office. You may not be called to write books or broadcast the truth on the internet. You may not be called to serve in the military. You may not be called to fight the forces of evil in court, on the battlefield, or in the realm of public opinion. However, every single believer is called to use his or her authority to tread upon the devil and crush his plans into dust.
You, child of God, are a mighty warrior called to do battle against the enemy and you have everything you need to beat him. Read Ephesians 6 to see very single weapon you possess. And you have been given authority by the Lord Himself to swing the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, to cut down the enemy and to chop his plans into tiny, tiny pieces. Get the Word of God in your heart and let it come forth out of your mouth. Do not be afraid to use this sword- it is made for you and me to use. This is the hour and this is the fight for mankind. Do not shirk your duty as a soldier in the army of the Lord. Speak forth the defeat of satan and all who follow him.
Speak the Word with authority and speak it consistently. Do not let up on your enemy. He cannot stand against the Word of the Lord and a believer who knows how to use it. Use that authority until you see it begin to manifest in the natural realm- and then keep on using it. Do not let up at all. You are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, so keep using your authority to fight. Do not grow weary or quit. Our words of faith are supporting the angelic host that are fighting for us in the spirit realm. You may not be called to do something in a visible way to defeat the enemy, but what you are called to do is more important than you know. Speak the Word, stand in your authority, and see your enemies scatter. The believer who knows who he is in Christ is a mighty force against the enemy.
