Our Hope Is In God- Part 2
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25 (KJV)
According to Proverbs 13:12, hope disappointed makes one’s heart sick. Hopes are tied to dreams, and when you stop dreaming, you stop truly living. Hope again to live again. Hope again to believe again. Believe that God can and will do it again. When hope comes to pass, you enjoy the fruit of what you hoped for.
As I mentioned in my last post, hope is a confident (and happy) expectation, or anticipation, that something good will happen for you. If you’ve given up hope, hope again. Choose to resurrect the hope that you’ve lost. As long as you are alive, hope is never really dead. When disappointed, hope again. When dreams seem to fail, hold onto hope.
God’s love that is in us will not disappoint. God is a sure thing. Who God says He is, He is. What God promises, happens. Hope keeps us going, moving forward to to that for which we’re believing. Hope helps us to believe for better days; for a better life. Things are going to get better. God’s hope won’t let us down because love never fails. Faith, hope and love work together. Hope gives faith a target. Love makes faith work, and love never fails.
“For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, Because it will certainly come; it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3 (Amplified Bible, AMP)
Keep hoping. Surely it will come to pass. Wait for it because hope never disappoints.
