"Places, Everyone!"
And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? Esther 4:14 (New International Version, NIV)
Fulfillment of God-given destiny is about perfect timing- God’s timing. Throughout Scripture, the phrase “appointed time” can be found over and over. We are on God’s timetable, and while we may want things to happen quicker than it appears they are happening, His timing is perfect. We’ve all been strategically born just for this time in history.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) emphasis mine
One thing is certain, whether we approve of the timing of a thing or not, God will bring it to pass at just the right moment. His Word does not fail. If He promised something, there is no doubt that it will happen.
Right now the body of Christ is getting ready to step into position for the great, end-time harvest. Many of you have been waiting in the wings, praying for your opportunity to step onto the stage and play your part. It has been a long time coming, but the moment we’ve been waiting for is upon us. We’ve been preparing all our lives for this time, and the curtain is rising. As we take the stage, God is about to yell, “Action!” We’ve rehearsed and learned our parts, so we will be able to step right into our roles when He calls. The preparation was long and often difficult, but it will be worth it.
We are about to get our cue. Get your mind focused on your part. Imagine yourself stepping into your destiny. As the curtain rises and you hear the cue that tells you to act, you will know exactly what to do. Pay attention to the Holy Spirit, your Director. His instructions are invaluable as you move around the stage and deliver your lines with conviction.
All is ready. The props you need are where they need to be. Your costume and wardrobe is impeccable. The set is erected and ready to form the backdrop for one of the most amazing stories ever performed. Things are aligned for us to do what we’re called to do. It will not be drudgery. it will be a joy. Every act will be a masterpiece executed with precision and feeling. The Author’s vision of this end-time performance will be realized exactly as He wrote it. And , as the curtain falls, we will be rewarded with the thunderous applause of heaven.
Shakespeare famously said that all the world’s a stage, and right now, God’s people must take their place. The show is starting and all is ready to go. Action!
